Stan Solomon

Artist Statement:
This is simple.... I don't have one. If there is anything to say about my
work it has to be said by someone else. Julie, who has worked with me for
over 25 years, says, "Each piece is like a love letter from the "Land of
High Whimsy".... whatever does she mean? I think that you can attach any
meaning that you want to my work. It's up to you, the viewer. Mostly, I just
have fun with the paint and attempt to put the imagery in my head on canvas.
Why that imagery? Where does it come from? I don't know, it just appeals to
me.
